Job Summary:
The Fiberglass Production Associate reports to the Production Supervisor. This position focuses on assembling fiberglass components correctly and efficiently.
Job Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
Rate of Pay: $17-19.50/hr (depending on experience)
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Process and prepare fiberglass components for final assembly: tasks include cutting to length drilling painting foam filling silicone application and electrical testing etc.
Perform final assembly of fiberglass products including telescopic sticks straight sticks shotgun sticks range poles etc.
Perform packaging of fiberglass products including telescopic sticks straight sticks shotgun sticks range poles etc.
Efficiently run fiberglass processing machines.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions blueprint specifications and parts lists; gathering parts subassemblies tools and materials.
Follow Work Orders.
Wind fiberglass components (standard USTS and USTS Bucket) according to approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform light assembly tasks.
Wind Take Apart Fiberglass Sections according to approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Operate the fiberglass slitter according to approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prepare fiberglass packets at the cutting station according to approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Responsible for meeting or exceeding all established quality standards.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Operates machines of limited complexity to perform fiberglass w engineering.
Basic understanding of conventional measuring tools and techniques to assure compliance with technical specifications.
Must be able to multitask.
Excellent hand eye coordination
Requirements:
High school degree or GED equivalent.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Production environment: dust and grease are common. Significant risks from equipment and environment require constant care and vigilance. Be able to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 50 lbs. While performing the dutiesof this job the employee is regularly required to usehands and hand tools to assemble parts and to reach with hands and arms.
