Locum Occupational Therapist Darwin NT
Private Practice Children & Adults Short-Term Contract
We are currently working with a well-established private practice in Darwin that is seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to provide short-term cover.
This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys variety autonomy and working across both paediatric and adult caseloads while experiencing life in Australias Top End.
About the Role
- Locum Occupational Therapist role in a private practice setting
- Mixed caseload across children and adults
- Work across clinic-based and community appointments
- Supportive multidisciplinary team and structured handover
- Flexible contract length (typically min 2-3 months)
What Youll Be Doing
- Paediatric assessments and therapy (developmental delay sensory processing functional skills)
- Adult OT services including functional assessments and rehabilitation
- Report writing and client goal planning
- Liaising with families carers and other health professionals
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Occupational Therapist
- AHPRA registration (or in progress)
- Experience working with paediatric and adult clients
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Locum or contract experience preferred but not essential
