Miles Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated Parts Counter Person to join our team in Decatur IL. This role involves providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with their parts needs processing orders efficiently and maintaining accurate inventory records to support the overall operations of our dealership.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and ordering automotive parts and accessories.
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information.
- Maintain organized inventory and stock levels.
- Process orders invoices and returns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with service and repair teams to fulfill parts requirements.
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
Requirements
- Previous experience in parts counter or automotive parts sales preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
