Position Overview
Kool Toyota is seeking a dependable and motivated Parts Driver who is interested in growing into a Parts Counter role. This position begins with driving and delivery responsibilities while providing hands-on training in parts department operations. The ideal candidate is reliable eager to learn and interested in developing long-term skills in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Driver Duties
- Deliver automotive parts to and from vendors body shops and other dealership locations
- Verify parts orders for accuracy before delivery and upon return
- Load unload and organize parts safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with general parts department tasks as needed
Parts Counter Training & Support
- Learn dealership parts inventory systems and basic catalog lookups
- Assist Parts Counter staff with stocking organizing and pulling parts
- Learn to receive label and stock incoming shipments
- Provide support to technicians and service advisors under supervision
- Gradually train in customer service and counter operations as skills progress
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Dependable punctual and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow within the Parts Department
- Automotive or dealership experience is a plus but not required
