Job Summary

The Lewis Rice LawBridge Internship is a 6-week paid program designed for undergraduate students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who are passionate about pursuing a legal career. The internship is also open to exceptional undergraduate students at colleges and universities in Missouri and Illinois that are not offers aspiring lawyers the opportunity to connect with and support the Firms attorneys and staff while gaining valuable insights into legal practice and operations at a dynamic full-service law firm.

As aSummer Intern your day-to-day projects will vary as client attorney and departmental needs addition to tackling a variety of assignments from legal staff and attorneys you can expect to receive guidance and support from Lewis Rices administration team in making sure you get projects focused on your interests.

Providing aspiring lawyers a window into legal practice and an opportunity to get to know Lewis Rice attorneys is the primary goal of this internship. Accordingly summer interns will meet with attorneys from the Firms various practice groups throughout the summer.

Eligibility

This internship program is primarily designed for undergraduate students currently enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who are passionate about pursuing a legal career. Additionally exceptional undergraduate students from accredited colleges and universities in Missouri and Illinois are also encouraged to apply.

Details

Summer Interns work the same hours as our staff (9AM-5PM Monday through Thursday; 9AM-3PM Friday) and are compensated $15/hour. Our St. Louis office is located at 600 Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis.
