Students to Startups is a summer (May August) based internship program in which University of Alaska students are paired with an Alaska startup company.
The ideal candidate would be a student looking for a summer opportunity to work with an Alaskan Startup company. Students who want to gain valuable experience in the world of startups and innovation are encouraged to apply.
Students will learn about design thinking startup funding intellectual property customer discovery path to market strategies and pitching. Students transition this knowledge into their startups work project while growing their own capacity and capabilities for their future opportunities. Must be a current University of Alaska student enrolled in 6 credit hours or more in the academic year and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha campus in Fairbanks AK. This is a full-time or part-time non-exempt student position. New hires will be placed on the UA Student Salary ScheduleGrade 02 based on education and experience.
