  • Monday to Friday availability 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm required

Ensures safety of patients and staff during MRI procedures by screening and monitoring for contraindications and maintaining equipment.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Maintains security around the entrance to each magnet.
  • Ensures that no person enters Zone 3 without proper screening for ferrous objects. Uses metal detection devices as warranted to detect ferrous objects.
  • Actively participates in the responsibility for MR safety of each patient and other employees.
  • Follows Radiation MR and general safety policies.
  • Complies with radiology state federal and other regulatory guidelines and policies.
  • Represents the departments customer service focus for both internal and external contacts.

Education Requirement:

  • High school graduate required.
  • Currently enrolled in healthcare related field of study preferred.

Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:

Current CPR Certification preferred.


Skills:

High level of professionalism and ability to establish good rapport with patients and staff.


Experience:

Healthcare or clinical experience preferred.
