How youll contribute

A Certified Nurse Aid (CNA)who excels in this role:

• Performs basic patient care tasks including bathing grooming and mobility assistance.
• Provides general nursing support such as positioning lifting turning and using special equipment.
• Assists with toileting needs using bedpans urinals commodes or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Takes and records temperature pulse respiration weight height blood pressure and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepares patient rooms for admission and transfer ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintains a clean comfortable and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Supports patient admission transfer and discharge procedures including handling of patient belongings.
• Answers patient call lights phones and pages responding promptly and appropriately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What were looking for

• Preferred: Six months of experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Someone who demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills. Who can prioritize and multitask in a healthcare environment.
• Certifications: CPR/BLS required
• License: Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Education: Completion of a nursing assistant training course
