What You Will Do:

The Strategic Communications & Outreach Specialist will support of a federal national security agency by planning and executing strategic communications and outreach activities that translate complex mission and technical concepts into clear actionable messaging for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies aligned to mission objectives

• Produce executivelevel briefings reports presentations and written materials

• Plan and conduct external user and stakeholder briefings

• Collect synthesize and communicate stakeholder feedback to internal teams

• Ensure consistent messaging across threads components and partners

• Translate technical content into accessible messaging for nontechnical audiences

• Track effectiveness of communications and recommend improvements

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD securityclearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph

• Bachelors Degree

• FOUR (4) or more years experience in strategic communications public affairs and/or stakeholder engagement

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work directly with technical and executive audiences

• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment

• Intelligence Community or Department of Defense experience

• Familiarity with JIRA or similar collaboration tools

• Experience supporting classified environments
