About this role:

The Territory Sales Leader (TSL) ensures flawless execution of storelevel sales and promotional plans with customer retailers across the assigned territory. This territory consists of highvolume food chain grocers and mass merchandiser TSL drives incremental sales by executing retail strategies maintaining 100% distribution of authorized Hershey items ensuring bestinclass merchandising and developing strong customer relationships. The role utilizes datadriven insights precall planning and consultative selling techniques to influence Key Decision Makers (KDMs) improve store performance and maximize merchandising opportunities.

What will you do:

  • Build and maintain strong consultative business relationships with Key Decision Makers (KDMs) to execute detailed action plans that improve sales results
  • Prepare for retail sales calls by analyzing relevant store product and market data to create effective selling tools and presentations
  • Engage in consultative selling techniques to secure incremental orders optimize product placement and maximize promotional opportunities
  • Execute the Retail Execution Plan by maintaining permanent secondary displays addressing outofstocks and ensuring new items are placed correctly
  • Complete all required administrative responsibilities including reporting activities expenses promotions and competitive insights using approved technology
  • Territory spans multiple highvolume chain and mass merchandise retailers with varying footprint sizes
  • Responsible for influencing negotiating and coaching store personnel to execute Hersheys merchandising standards
  • Ensures strategic display placement through forward selling relationship building and effective communication with customers
  • Recommends strategies to improve territory efficiency and participates in advocacy partnerships as needed

What we Need:

  • Post-secondary education required
  • 1-3 years experience preferred
  • Personal auto insurance meeting minimum government liability requirements
  • Must reside within the boundaries of the assigned territory
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques within consumerpackaged goods
  • Excellent analytical organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Detailoriented with innovative problemsolving skills and initiative to meet objectives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad technology
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a repetitive basis
  • Valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record
