What You Will Do:
- Operational Support: Deliver advanced technical support for network operations including 24/7 on-call support. Provide incident response and troubleshoot network issues performance and functionality to ensure delivery of reliable network services
- MW Radio System Design and Implementation: Support deployment and optimization of enterprise-scale systems including SCADA remote communications.
- New Technology and Infrastructure Development: Provide comprehensive network solutions to meet business/Scada/OT requirements ensuring high availability security and scalability and implement rollout of new network technology
- Technology Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of new communications technology to guarantee performance and reliability.
- Technology Integration: Integrate new technologies into existing network architectures ensuring seamless connectivity and performance enhancements.
- Risk Management: Identify and document network risks collaborate with risk assessment teams and implement remediation plans.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed network documentation including design blueprints configuration guides and operational procedures.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks and integrate new technologies into existing networks to improve overall infrastructure.
- Problem Incident and Change Review: Participate in incident review and RCA sessions and present network changes at CAB and TAB meetings.
- Cost Optimization: Proactively identify and implement cost-saving measures within the network infrastructure.
- Project Support: Provide support for business projects including M & A involving requirement gathering and review and translating requirements into technical network architecture.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships including negotiating contracts and ensuring SLA compliance.
Who You Are:
You have:
- 5 years of demonstratable experience in designing building deploying testing and supporting enterprise radio infrastructure along with a university degree in computer science networking engineering or a related subject area
- Solid understanding of radio fundamentals and technologies in addition to experience in supporting microwave radio configuration and implementation along with hands-on experience with Nokia MW systems
- The ability to lead business relationships across departments and understand business requirements to deliver on core projects and initiatives while also having prior experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring SLA alignment
You can:
- Show a consistent track record of managing complex communication projects from start to finish while being a strong problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
- Offer working knowledge of PtP/PtMP systems (VHF UHF bands) LMR and cellular in addition to experience in support microwave radio configuration and implementation
- Provide strong working knowledge and hands on experience with networking technologies including routing switching and SDWAN along with working experience with network security principles and standard methodologies including the implementation of OTA encryption
You are:
- An excellent written/verbal communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners while being experienced with service ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow) and adherence to ITIL processes
- Knowledgeable of towers and maintenance FCC and ISED licensing as well as knowledge of Telecom sites design development power systems cabling and grounding
- Experienced with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds Sierra Air Link Manager CN Maestro Provision IMS etc.

Salary: $80000-$101000 USD. Salary will be based on candidate experience skills and internal equity
