As a Managing Director/Partner in ourTechnology and ExperiencepracticeandSoftwaredisciplineyou will join a leadership team focused helping companies become digital in every part of their business while mentoring the next generation of leaders at West Monroe. You will drive new opportunitiesforengagementsspanningProductstrategyhigh-performing product organizationproductdesign &buildAI in SDLC intelligent agentsand product operations. What will you be doing

The primary responsibility of this role is business development (hunting new clients and building relationships with existing clients) and partnering with our industry teams to generate new business and pursue opportunities to drive sales across the practice with a focus onproduct management. Youradditionalresponsibilities will include owning client relationships leading engagements ensuringa high levelof client satisfaction and successful project outcomes and supporting all aspects of growing capabilities and offerings.

As a Managing Director within West Monroe youare responsible for:

Business Development

  • Lead and/or collaborate with industry segment teams and key accounts on account planning and execute those plans for account growth
  • Leverage your personal network of digital and product executive relationships (Chief Product Officers Chief Digital Officers Chief Information Officers SVP Product and Experience Product Engineering Leads etc.) to secure executive-level introduction meetings to generate new business at target accounts
  • Identifyand drive business development activities by assessing opportunities designing solutions developing proposals/SOWsleveragingon-shore and near-shore delivery modelsestablishingrelationships with clients and prospective clients and helping to close new deals
  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) messaging and sales materials to support business development for prospects and clients
  • Create work plans pricing estimates and risk assessments for potential engagements
  • Contribute to thought leadership to strengthen marketing efforts
  • Attend networking events and actively build andleveragea professional network and affiliate network in the local community
  • Identifyimpactful partnerships that can become sales and revenue channels for product and software engineering capabilities and work with our partnerships team to drive work through those partnerships grow our relationships and invest in those partnerships

Client Leadership

  • Bring subject matter depth in imagining designing andmanaging development ofbespoke digitalproductsthat capturereal businessvaluesuch that you can be a trust executive advisor to our most senior and sophisticated client executives
  • Lead teams serving clients across industries as the engagement lead and owning overall accountability of successful delivery whiledemonstratingexecutive presence with high level client counterparts.
  • Provide quality assurance and conduct frequent touch bases with client executives to ensure value is realized and understood from our engagements
  • Work with program and project leadership to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions
  • Manage and influence multi-disciplinary teams to translate client businessobjectivesintoProduct Managementengagement types and offerings
  • Identifydevelopandleverageaccelerators focused on addressing industry-specific challenges

Practice Development

  • Collaborate with nationalTechnology & Experience leadersand across West Monroes industry and functional practices to evangelize develop and deliver multi-disciplinary data-drivenproduct managementengagementtypesand offerings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm to develop and enhance delivery capabilities across West Monroes practice areas

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of work experience within a high growth team-based client facingdigitaland/or globalbusiness and technology consultingfirm including direct experience selling and delivering digital product management and advisory services digital productbuildandsoftware modernization servicesto executive-level corporate strategic buyers
  • Domainexpertise experienceandinterest increatingwinning digital product strategiesaugmentingand acceleratingSDLCprocesseswith AIcapturingproduct discovery/deliverymetricsusing leading frameworks(DORA SPACE and others)designing and building digital products modernizing legacy softwareandimplementingproductprocesses and toolsthat enableeffective productoperationsin a hybrid(onshore nearshore offshore)delivery setup
  • Demonstrated experience selling into Fortune 1000 enterprise and upper mid-market clientsand commercial success in selling multiple multi-million dollar deals each year
  • Demonstrated experience hunting farmingand closing large scale product engineering opportunitiesleveragingon-shore and near-shore delivery models
  • Expertisewithin sales strategy business development pricing account management sales operations sales enablement and bringing new products and services to market
  • Ability to combine technical experience with other strong management and leadership skills specificallyexpertisein client relationship management and business casedevelopmentof go-to-market practices (e.g. sales effectiveness pricing sales operations) and/or product delivery (e.g. product management user experience software development)
  • Bring product management market sales experience in one or more of these industries: Healthcare Financial Services Energy & Utilities High-Tech and Software Life Sciences Private Equity Consumer & Industrial Products and Insurance
  • Able to work independently and as a team player in coordinating and driving sales processes
  • Strong communicationskills and ability to work with C-level clients
  • ABachelorsdegree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to Travel asrequiredbased on client and practice demands
  • Abilityto be in-person three days a week Directors at West Monroe are expected to be in-person three days a week. This can include being present at client sites in the market or in-office for internal collaboration. Thereisflexibility and an understanding that schedules ebb and flow but a core belief is that when we are together with our people and our clients we build stronger relationships and are better equipped to sell and deliver value.

Based on pay transparency guidelines a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is listed below. Information on our competitive total rewards package including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography experience skills education and internal equity. Employees in proximity of our Seattle Washington DC Los Angeles New York and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale.

Employees are able to enroll in our companys 401k plan purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
