FEA Simulation Engineer

Overview
A premier highperformance motorsport engineering company is seeking a skilled FEA Simulation Engineer with a strong interest in automotive design and development. As part of our Simulation Group you will prepare execute and analyze FEA simulations to support engineering decisions and product development. This role offers significant technical responsibility and collaboration across engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Finite Element Analysis: Set up and run FEA simulations using inhouse tools and workflows.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Interpret simulation outputs analyze results and summarize findings for broader engineering teams.
- Automation: Develop scripts macros and tools to streamline and enhance simulation processes.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and other internal teams to support design validation and development activities.
- Test & Validation Understanding: Apply knowledge of testing methods and instrumentation to support simulation correlation and validation.
- Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver detailed technical presentations for engineering reviews and project discussions.
Required Experience (24 Years)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Dassault Abaqus; familiarity with CATIA is an asset.
- Programming skills in MATLAB Java and Python.
- Understanding of internal combustion hybrid and electric powertrain architectures.
- Completed coursework in Statics Dynamics and Materials Engineering.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DoE) and its application to simulation/optimization is a plus.
- Knowledge of control systems and their relevance to powertrain applications.

- Mature responsible and capable of working autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong team player.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
