Position Summary
The Production Supervisor will manage assigned shifts and production lines coordinate staff and resources and ensure products meet quality safety and efficiency standards. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations workflow staffing and equipment to meet production goals and deadlines
Coordinate raw materials machinery and labor across assigned production lines
Monitor production for consistency and conduct quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce waste and optimize production processes
Supervise train and support production staff while enforcing safety and company policies
Ensure compliance with food safety quality and workplace safety standards
Collaborate with maintenance sanitation and quality assurance teams to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations
Address production issues and make real-time decisions to keep operations on track
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of production processes and manufacturing equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Food manufacturing experience
Experience supervising hourly production teams
Familiarity with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles
Schedule & Compensation (may vary by assignment)
2nd Shift (Swing) and 3rd Shift (Graveyard) opportunities available
Estimated starting salary: $74000 based on experience and qualifications
Performance-based bonus opportunities may be available
