Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an and GraphQL Developer to join our development this role you will design build and maintain scalable secure and high-performance applications and APIs technologies and GraphQL. Your expertise will drive efficient data exchange and integrated solutions supporting enterprise applications. Working collaboratively across teams you will ensure the delivery of resilient maintainable and innovative software aligned with organizational goals.

Software Requirements

• Required: C# (.NET Framework Core) GraphQL REST API development Visual Studio Code Git build & deployment tools such as TeamCity or Octopus Deploy monitoring tools like Splunk or AppDynamics databases (Oracle MySQL or similar) unit testing frameworks (NUnit xUnit)

• Preferred: Azure DevOps Cloud platforms (Azure AWS) API documentation tools (Swagger) security frameworks (OAuth2 JWT) performance testing tools containerization (Docker Kubernetes)

• Experience level: 4 years of professional development supporting enterprise applications APIs and scalable systems

Overall Responsibilities

• Design develop and optimize scalable and secure applications and APIs technologies and GraphQL

• Collaborate with product owners architects and QA teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Develop and maintain reusable high-quality code in accordance with best practices and design principles

• Implement and support API security data validation and error handling mechanisms

• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines automating build and release processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and implement architectural enhancements

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation API specifications and operational procedures

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: C# (.NET Core) GraphQL REST API development unit testing (NUnit xUnit)

  • Preferred: Additional scripting (PowerShell Python) .NET Servicing APIs for cloud integration

• Databases/Data Management:*

  • Oracle MySQL SQL Server knowledge of ORM frameworks and data modeling query optimization

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Basic understanding of Azure AWS or GCP cloud services supporting applications and APIs (preferred)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Core Entity Framework GraphQL libraries Swagger/OpenAPI security middleware (OAuth2 JWT)

• Development Tools & Methodologies:

  • Visual Studio Code Visual Studio Git Jenkins Octopus Deploy Azure DevOps Agile/Scrum TDD/BDD practices

  • API security standards (OAuth2 JWT) encryption secure coding practices compliance standards

Experience Requirements

• 4 years of professional experience supporting enterprise-grade applications technologies

• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for scalable systems

• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment containerization and automation pipelines

• Knowledge of database management query tuning and ORM frameworks

• Industry experience in finance insurance healthcare or enterprise IT sectors is a plus; extensive enterprise development experience is preferred

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop test and maintain scalable APIs and backend applications and GraphQL

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during sprint planning code reviews and deployment activities

• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis to enhance system stability

• Support application performance tuning security hardening and process automation

• Maintain documentation API documentation and operational procedures for ongoing support

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

• Support deployment pipelines monitor system health and troubleshoot service outages

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related discipline

• 4 years supporting enterprise application development and GraphQL

• Certifications in Azure Developer Security or related fields are advantageous

• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Agile environment
