The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons that develop creativity and technical skill
Supporting pupils with coursework sketchbooks and portfolio development
Encouraging the use of a wide range of artistic media and techniques
Contributing to displays exhibitions and enrichment activities
Working collaboratively within a successful and supportive Art department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art Fine Art or a related subject
Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and clear understanding of assessment requirements
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
