Job Summary
Part-Time Adult Art Teacher
Location: Wilmslow SK9
Hours: Wednesday afternoon and evening sessions
Start Date: End of April 2026
Rate: 20 per hour
Were looking for a passionate creative and engaging Part-Time Adult Art Teacher to take over our Wlimslow classes inspiring and supporting adult learners in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Whether your students are picking up a paintbrush for the first time or developing their skills further youll help them explore techniques build confidence and enjoy the process of making art.
About the Role
Deliver engaging art classes each Wednesday
Teach a range of artistic mediums and techniques
Foster a positive inclusive and inspiring classroom atmosphere
Work independently while contributing to our wider art programme
Encourage enrolments from new and returning students
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience (adult education or similar)
- Strong knowledge of materials methods and techniques
- Warm and confident classroom presence with excellent communication
- Experience in lesson planning and delivering engaging sessions
- Ability to give constructive motivating feedback
- Reliable organised and committed to community learning
