About the Role This full-time permanent position involves working within a large and supportive Science team to support a heavy schedule of practical experiments. You will be responsible for the preparation of materials for Key Stage 3 GCSE and A-Level classes. Responsibilities
Assemble and trial complex apparatus for GCSE and A-Level practicals ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
Manage the prep room effectively ensuring all chemicals and equipment are stored according to rigorous safety guidelines.
Support the Head of Science with annual safety audits census reporting and the procurement of new laboratory resources.
Maintain the schools technical equipment inventory and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory glassware.
Requirements
Previous experience as a technician or experience working within a classroom setting.
Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
Salaryper annum.
