We are seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join a high-achieving secondary school in York. This is an exciting opportunity to support a successful science department and contribute to the delivery of engaging and practical science lessons.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment supporting experiments and maintaining laboratory resources. You will ensure that all practical work is carried out safely and efficiently supporting both staff and students.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in science who enjoys working in a practical environment and supporting student learning.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up equipment for experiments
Maintain laboratory resources and stock
Ensure health and safety compliance
Support teachers during practical lessons
Clean and store equipment
Assist with ordering supplies
