Wayman Education is seeking a proactive and technically proficient IT Technician for an immediate start at a high-achieving school in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. You will provide vital first and second-line support to a diverse community of staff and students. Whether you are troubleshooting hardware in a classroom or managing cloud permissions from the server room your work will ensure that teaching and learning remain uninterrupted.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop & Helpdesk Support: Resolve technical issues related to Windows and MacOS devices interactive displays and classroom peripherals.
Network Administration: Assist with the maintenance of the schools wired and wireless infrastructure ensuring high-speed connectivity across the campus.
Cloud Management: Administer user accounts and security groups within Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
AV & Events: Support the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for assemblies performances and remote learning events.
Cyber Security: Maintain up-to-date patches firewalls and anti-virus software to protect the schools data integrity.

A patient customer-focused approach when supporting non-technical staff.
A relevant IT qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one immediately).
