Youre passionate about events and get a thrill out of exceeding clients expectations. Details are important and you are laser-focused on deadlines. A hardcore multitasker you get a kick out of juggling multiple projects at the same time. You are at the interface between production and commercial. You make sure that local production teams deliver with excellence and exceed client expectations. But youre also a people-person a versatile team player who is capable of making your colleagues LOL.

What youll be doing

In this role you will work 100% on one of our key pharmaceutical clients

• Supervising the production teams and ensuring best-in-class execution together with the Country Operations Director and in constant communication with the dedicated Key Account Lead.

• Training all teams assigned to an event and ensure adherence to the clients operational standards tools and processes.

• Managing communications between key clients and internal teams including the resolution of client issues.

• Monitor all financials of your assigned account.

• Planning and presenting reports on account progress goals and quarterly initiatives to share with team members stakeholders and possible use in future case studies or company training.

• Identify and co-create the processes and templates required for optimal account management.

This role can be based anywhere in Japan. Remote work is supported with occasional travel as needed.

Must haves

(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)

• 10 years of event project management experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector (logistic events congress internal events)

• Experience in both an operational (project management) role and managing teams of up to 10 people

• Extremely structured and process orientated

• Budget creation management and consolidation experience

• Eligibility to work in the country where the job is posted

• Able to delegate and multi-task

• Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese

Nice to haves

• Other language skills (except English & Japanese)

• Previous agency experience

• Knowledge on Cvent
