Job Description Summary
The position holder is responsible for providing expert advice and support in labor law matters to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with laws collective agreements works agreements and company regulations. The role requires in-depth knowledge of business operations and labor law and is managed by senior HR People Partners. The focus is on fostering positive labor relations and effectively managing labor law challenges within the company. The position holder plays a key role in negotiating works agreements and interpreting and implementing collective agreements acting as an important link between management and employee representatives.

Key Characteristics
Expert in the interactions relationships and environment between employers and employees as well as local labor law. He/She advises and supports in labor law matters. The role reports to the Senior HRPP in the country.
Main Tasks/Scope of Role
- Close collaboration with the CoE Labor Relations
- Conducting negotiations on behalf of the Human Resources department
- Regular meetings with works councils
- Responsible for maintaining and nurturing a constructive and trusting relationship with employee representatives and works councils and their committees
- Coordinating function vis-à-vis labor authorities
- Supervision and coordination of all labor law issues in collaboration with the works council and/or unions
- Preparation and conduct of negotiations with employee representatives (e.g. works agreements collective agreements)
- Advising managers and HR People Partners / Business Partners on collective and individual labor law issues
- Ensuring compliance with labor law collective agreements and internal company regulations
- Accompanying restructurings reorganizations and change processes while considering labor law frameworks
- Collaboration with external legal advisors and participation in labor court proceedings
- Training and sensitizing managers in the area of labor law and employee relations
- Monitoring changes in legislation case law and labor law negotiations and follow-up with works councils/unions
Your Profile
Professional Qualifications
- Completed degree in Law Business Law Labor Law
- In-depth knowledge of collective and individual labor law (BetrVG ArbZG TzBfG etc.)
- Professional experience in human resources with a focus on labor law / labor relations ideally in a company bound by collective agreements
- Experience in dealing with employee representatives and in conducting negotiations

- Conflict resolution ability and assertiveness
- Structured and solution-oriented work approach

Language Skills
