About CatholicCare NT and the Program
CatholicCare NT is a not-for-profit organisation providing social services and programs to individuals couples families children groups schools and agencies across the Northern Territory.
CCNTs mens DFV programs include a Mens Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) in Darwin and Wadeye and court support for men who use violence in their relationships in Darwin and Katherine. The primary purpose of these programs is the safety of women and children.
About the role
The Case Worker is responsible for undertaking outreach in the community comprehensive assessments and referrals for immediate and longer-term needs of participants. This position has a particular focus on actively engaging men who use violence in their relationships and supporting their participation in services that facilitate lasting behavioural change. It involves establishing collaborative partnerships with various stakeholders monitoring risk and safety for affected family members and providing ongoing support to male participants beyond program completion or termination.
