Casual daily rates range from $335.83 to $491.61 plus super and night duty allowances when applicable.
Annual Package for temporary employment ranges from $77868 up to $114019 per annum (exclusive of super and relevant allowances)
About the role:
As a Program Officer you will create fun active and safe outdoor experiences for schools sports teams school holiday participants and community groups. You will prepare and facilitate activity sessions that encourage participation build confidence and skills and help people connect grow and challenge themselves through outdoor sport and recreation activities. Every program you deliver contributes to the physical mental and social wellbeing of participants while fostering teamwork leadership communication resilience and a sense of achievement.
You will deliver programs within established risk management frameworks uphold strong child safe practices and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies. Your work will involve tailoring activities to specific program goals leading groups through adventurebased learning and team challenges and collaborating with colleagues teachers coaches and group leaders to create smooth memorable camp experiences. Oncall responsibilities apply on a rostered basis during residential programs and your days may include activities such as canoeing archery bushwalking and teambuilding sessions across a variety of outdoor settings.
