| Job Description: | UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA LEVIN COLLEGE OF LAW welcomes applications from candidates interested in creating teaching and directing an Appellate Litigation Clinic. The successful candidate will develop a clinic that provides individual representation of clients through court appointment in federal and Florida state appellate courts. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can guide the students in learning how to litigate appeals develop appellate strategy draft effective appellate briefs and conduct oral arguments. Because this will be a new clinic at the College the inaugural director will have the opportunity to build and shape the clinic with best practices to serve our students educational needs and benefit the people of Florida and beyond. The clinic director will also be part of a new Program in Law and Government which is a home to thought leaders on First Amendment state and local government issues constitutional interpretation and environmental law among others. |

| Required Qualifications: | Juris Doctor (J.D.) and 5 years practice or prior teaching experience in the field of appellate practice or similar area. |
