For GS-7:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Investigating unusual situations pertaining to violations of the law; 2. Conducting checkpoints/roadblocks at various locations to reduce criminal activity; 3. Inspecting packages/personal belongings when admitting personnel into controlled areas; and 4. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Issuing citations for violations of the law; 2. Preparing reports and orders for dissemination to other law enforcement officials; and 3. You must graduate from a police academy specifically the Department of Homeland Securitys Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program (UPTP). If you have not graduated from this specific academy prior to this application the employer will assign the dates and location for you to attend. Upon completion of FLETC you must sign an agreement to obligate three years of service as a Police Officer (series 0083) with Department of the Navy.
