Job Summary
Are you interested in gaining insights into an early-stage startup led by experienced founders At ephema Labs youll have the unique opportunity to observe the entire process of building a startup from the ground up. Youll work closely with a team that has a proven track record of scaling VC-funded startups to this role youll serve as the right hand of the founders gaining exposure to various aspects of establishing a company including business strategy legal frameworks and accounting processes.
Tasks
Your role involves supporting the founding team with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:
- Assisting the founders with strategic planning processes
- Be hands-on operational involved in the day-to-day business
- Taking responsibility for preparatory accounting tasks (Vorbereitende Buchhaltung)
- Supporting event-related activities such as location scouting and managing supplier relationships
- Assisting with government grant applications and programs
- Supporting partnership negotiations and agreements
Requirements
- Student in business industrial engineering or related fields with strong academic performance
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive can-do attitude
- Analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Fluent in English and at least C1 level in German
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles (and learn how they are applied in practise)
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn more about technology entrepreneurship & communities
- Previous experience through internships in consulting or a technology startup is a plus
- Being based in Berlin is preferred but remote work is possible
