Job Summary
Summary
This position is located at Eisenhower Hall.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Oversees the management and performance of event banquet staff.
- Delegates duties to staff set-up and completion of event assistance with proper scheduling labor control linen control and payment postings.
- When required will function as a Server Food Runner Cashier or Bartender as needed.
- Accountable for event props/materials and management of department equipment.
- At times will serve as event Manager on duty. Guest interaction is an integral part of the position.
Conditions of employment

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights weekends and holidays.
- Medical Examination is required.
- This position is eligible to receive gratuities (tips) based on the type of event(s) and performance.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position is Weather Essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word etc.).

Work experience directly related to banquet service.

- This job is open to candidates who US Citizens and Non-Citizens residing within a 65 mile radius of West Point NY. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

PCS Costs
- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Governments interest.
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.
