Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Senior BI Developer (Frederick MD Onsite)
- Role: Senior BI Developer (6-month contract onsite in Frederick MD)
- Primary Focus: Design and develop advanced dashboards reporting solutions and data pipelines using Power BI Tableau and Azure data services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI and Tableau.
- Implement advanced data modeling DAX calculations and performance optimization in BI solutions.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
- Develop and deploy SSAS tabular models manage data security and optimize query performance.
- Integrate dashboards into applications while ensuring security compliance.
- Gather requirements document specifications and deliver solutions in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support for BI tools and resolve issues within defined SLA.
- Required Skills:
- 10 years experience in Power BI Tableau and SQL.
- Advanced skills in Power BI architecture DAX and Power Query.
- Expertise in Azure BI stack (ADF Databricks SSAS ADLS Azure Data Lake Analytics Azure Stream Analytics).
- Proficient in data modeling schema design and ETL processes.
- Experience with advanced Tableau dashboard design and optimization.
- Knowledge of Looker and Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical Skills:
- Business Intelligence: Power BI Tableau ADF Databricks SSAS ADLS Azure Data Lake Analytics Power Apps Azure Integration Runtime DAX XMLA Power Query Azure Event Hubs Azure Stream Analytics DBT.
- Database: Azure SQL MongoDB.
