Schedule: Monday Friday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (Evening Shift)
Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our medical laboratory team on a 13-week contract. The CLS will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across core lab disciplines ensuring accurate timely results to support patient care. This position provides evening shift coverage and requires collaboration with physicians nurses and lab personnel while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized testing in Chemistry Hematology Coagulation Immunoassay Microbiology and Blood Bank as required.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results.
Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers.
Follow all regulatory safety and quality procedures including CAP CLIA and hospital standards.
Document results and maintain records according to hospital protocols.
Provide coverage for evening shifts Monday Friday and holidays as needed.
Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff physicians and nurses to support patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License.
Minimum 1 year of recent CLS generalist experience; Microbiology and Blood Bank experience preferred.
Current TB clearance within the last 12 months.
Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality control standards.
Ability to work independently during evening shifts.
Proficiency with CPSI/Evident EMR or willingness to learn.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $23400 $26000 (13-week contract)
