Job Summary

Job Title : Electrical Engineer

Duration : 12-month

Location : Blue Ash OH /Cincinnati OH

Education:
Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or similar field required; dual degrees or advanced degree preferred

Experience & Skills
Required:

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a direct electrical engineering role in Research & Development.
Experience translating high-level concepts/ideas user needs and business objectives into clear actionable engineering requirements and specifications.
Experience with analog and digital circuitry design and development
Experience with embedded electrical design
PCBA ideation concept generation design prototyping manufacturing and troubleshooting experience
Demonstrated ability to debug and test electrical systems using oscilloscopes and other test tools
Detailed understanding of board-level printed circuit design and signal integrity issues
Demonstrated ability working across subject areas with internal and external partners
Strong collaboration proven technical leadership capabilities and conflict resolution skills

Preferred:

Experience formulating and coordinating different engineering approaches to test hypotheses such as hand calculations computational modeling and simulation empirical testing (benchtop and in vivo) and method development as appropriate
Experience with rigid-flex PCBAs and flex PCBAs
Experience with integration of motors in electrical systems
Knowledge and how to control DC motors (e.g. brushed brushless servo etc.)
Experience with various communication protocols (e.g. Bluetooth SPI I2C USB UART USART etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency in Cadence and/or Altium for PCB layout
Design for electromagnetic compatibility and immunity electrically fast transients electrostatic discharge etc.
Experience with IEC 60601-1 IECetc.
Design for test manufacture and assembly
Experience with various programming languages (e.g. C C Python Labview etc.)
Design control experience
