Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP Business Architect

Summary

The Business Architect bridges business strategy and technical solutions. They ensure the Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture aligns with organizational goals and stakeholder this role the architect collaborates with finance and ICS leadership to define business capabilities and processes and ensures that cloud solutions enable desired outcomes. The following outlines the architects responsibilities daily activities coordination roles involvement in project phases and global considerations.

Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment: Understand corporate vision and strategies; ensure the Fusion Cloud solution architecture (ERP EPM Risk) aligns with business objectives. Translate high-level goals (e.g. efficiency scalability) into architectural principles and solution patterns.
Solution Architecture Oversight: Lead the design of the end-to-end solution architecture for all in scope global processes. Oversee technical architecture elements (integration frameworks data models security cloud services) and validate designs proposed by architects and technical teams. Ensure seamless integration between ERP EPM Risk Management modules third-party systems and legacy interfaces.
Business Process & Capability Design: In coordination with the Business Transformation Lead global process owners and functional workstream leads (A2R P2C I2P R2R P2B I2C S2P H2R S&C) define and validate that all global business processes map to Oracle Cloud coordination with the Value Management Lead develop and maintain business capability maps and process models. Ensure target processes meet both global standards and local requirements.
Data and Conversion Strategy: Guide the global data architecture and migration approach. Oversee mapping of master and transactional data (chart of accounts cost centers employee/vendor data) from PeopleSoft to Fusion. Ensure data governance standards (quality ownership lifecycles) are coordination with the Data Conversion Lead drive all planning and work related to data conversion plans (mock and actual) and resolve complex data issues.
Reporting & Analytics Leadership: Ensure financial reporting analytics and regulatory reporting requirements are captured. Oversee development of a global reporting framework (financial statements KPIs) and analytics coordination with the Business Reporting Lead ensure all required reports and dashboards and built and meet requirements.

Governance and Standards: Establish and enforce architecture standards best practices and design principles across the program. Create governance processes (architecture review boards approval gates) to control solution changes. Ensure cloud security compliance and data standards are met. NOTE: This includes any development test and productions PODs or lanes.
Risk and Compliance: In coordination with the Security and Controls GPO Record to Report GPO Business Reporting Lead Regional Process Leads and other functional workstream analysts identify global regulatory requirements (e.g. GAAP/IFRS tax laws statutory reporting) and embed compliance considerations into the design. Work with Security and Controls GPO and functional workstream lead to integrate controls and policies. Mitigate enterprise risks by embedding controls in processes and the system design.
Stakeholder Engagement: Translate executive vision into system requirements. Communicate key architecture decisions trade-offs and impacts to delivery leads program leads and other governance teams as appropriate. Confirm alignment on scope and priorities.
Workstream Leadership: Directly manage leads of key workstreams: Financial Reporting & Analytics Test Deployment and Data Conversion. Provide guidance unblock issues and ensure each workstream delivers on schedule with quality. Integrate workstreams to maintain a unified program plan.
Change Leadership: Coordinate with change management teams to prepare users and organizations for new processes. Provide input for training plans and documentation. Ensure that end-user impact and business readiness are considered in all designs.
