Solution Architect (Enterprise Applications / Azure / AI)
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a team and play a pivotal role in supporting and evolving enterprise application platforms within a complex production environment. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on technical work and high-level architecture requiring close collaboration with development teams to design scalable high-performing solutions. Responsibilities
- Design develop and enhance enterprise application solutions across multiple platforms.
- Ensure system performance stability and scalability through ongoing optimization efforts.
- Lead and participate in code reviews design sessions and architecture discussions.
- Manage application upgrades patching and release cycles to ensure seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot complex production and development issues including conducting root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams integration plans and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to support system improvements and enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership mentorship and best practice guidance to engineering teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in application development or software engineering.
- Strong expertise in enterprise platforms and system integrations.
- Proficiency in technologies such as .NET C# SQL and modern development tools.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and exposure to AI-enabled architectures.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and testing tools.
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and architectural best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as BPM integration tools or document management systems.
- Exposure to AI governance frameworks or enterprise AI implementations.
- Background in highly regulated industries such as insurance or financial services.
