IT Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure this role you will be responsible for building supporting maintaining and continuously improving the organization s computing infrastructure and associated platforms.

Reporting directly to the Director of IT Infrastructure you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability security and performance of systems that support essential financial services. This position offers hands-on technical ownership meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to a stable mission-driven organization that values long-term thinking and operational excellence.

What You ll Do:

As a Systems Engineer you will:

• Build support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure and systems
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 VMware and server and storage platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and systems issues efficiently and effectively
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement practical scalable solutions
• Work closely with internal teams to support business operations and end users
• Ensure systems meet security performance and availability standards expected in a regulated environment
• Contribute to documentation processes and best practices across the IT function

What Makes You a Strong Fit:

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 VMware and server and storage hardware/software
• Experience in a financial institution or similarly regulated environment preferred
• Associate s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-starter with strong verbal non-verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Certifications

• Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifications
• VMware VCP or VCAP
• Cisco certifications
