About this Position:
Job Title: Deputy Project Manager
Responsibilities:

Manage the team and overall project delivery reporting status and documenting all stakeholder meetings.

Handle task management and risk/issue mitigation to ensure timely execution while developing detailed project approach and resource plans.

Oversee resource availability recruitment of replacements deliverable acceptance performance management and administrative requirements like invoices and insurance.

Provide analysis and expertise for SFS-related projects including Transit Access/Blackcat Bond Streamline and Workday Implementation.

Support financial system initiatives such as Funds Distribution improvements SiteManager upgrades and SFS Enterprise vendor management projects.
-
Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts to identify program requirements and develop current and future state workflows.
-
Draft business cases for SFS functionality changes and analyze configurations developed by SFS to ensure alignment with needs.
-
Review testing scenarios and test scripts while providing recommendations for future-state reporting and SFS Analytics capabilities.

Lead Change Management activities and develop communication tools like websites workshops and emails to engage staff.

Monitor end-user SFS proficiency and provide direct support through conference calls group emails and maintenance of the Support SharePoint site.
Required Skills/Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a project manager leading a complex project related to financial operations.

Preferred experience with a state transportation agency.
-
Preferred knowledge of Financial Systems and Statewide Financial System or other comparable state transportation agencies of comparable size and complexity.

Preferred experience with a project having a minimum value of $5M.

Preferred experience involved projects with a duration of at least three (3) years.
