The Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) will see MOD Serco and their consortium of partners providing a Tri-Service recruiting solution which for the RN will commence on 1 Apr 27. AFRS will provide end to end support from candidate attraction to assessment to preparing to join Phase 1 training. The solution will utilise Service Personnel in high value candidate facing roles in the Command and Support Unit and in recruitment selection Under-Represented Groups outreach and the national career centre.

Responsibilities |
- Manage URG & Female Mentoring Teams including volunteer mentors. Ensuring teams deliver effective mentoring to increase inflow.

- Work directly with National and Regional Outreach Teams to assist with mentoring opportunities and events for URG and females.
| |
- Identify issues and report on what may hinder individuals from URGs from initial contact EOI submission applications and progressing into Service.

- Identify and plan opportunities to engage & inform individuals making an application. Including sharing of lived experience in the Armed Forces.
| |
- Ensure that accurate records are maintained for all candidates using appropriate systems.
| |
- Collaborate with Principal Recruiters and Career Advisors to support the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activity for candidates.
| |
- Conduct appointments to support and nurture candidates informing on roles trades careers & the recruitment process. Including key referrals.

- Deputise as OiC as required including Line Manager and Reporting Officer responsibilities.
