About the Role
You are responsible forprovidingoperational and strategicleadership acrossallSVHMResidentialAgedCareServices centred on exceptional resident care and experiencequalityand safety.You will collaborate closely with theDirector of Nursing RACS Business Manager and theClinical Program Director (CPD) of Continuing Careto foster the development and growthservices driving clinicalexcellence and service innovation.
Management of the operational financial administrative and workforce components of SVHM Residential Aged Care Services (RACS)
Ensure delivery of high-quality evidence-based care that is flexible and responsive to client needs and in accordance with program guidelines and objectives and best practice principles
EnsureSVHMRACScomply withall relevant state and federal legislation industrial policies accreditation standards and quality frameworks
Delivertimelyaccurate and transparent reporting in line with SVHM/SVHAand governmentrequirements ensuring confidentiality and record management
This role will either be Allied Health Grade 6 VB29 ($170211.60 per annum) or relevant nursing classification.
Your Contribution
Tertiary level healthcare qualification
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Previous experience in a senior operations management role within healthcare setting preferably Aged Care sector
Highly developed leadership and organisational skills including demonstrated experience in leading and managing a wide range of multidisciplinary stadd anf functions
Ability to engage people with a clear vision and empower staff to lead high performing teams that deliver organisational objectives
Demonstrated understanding of the aged care healthcare environment including key safety quality and funding / financial drivers
Demonstrated understanding of Aged Care Act/s and reforms; Mental Health Act/s and reforms
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain and Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain

About Residential Aged CareServices
St Vincents Hospital Melbourne (SVHM)operatesthree Residential Aged CareServices (RACS)facilities:Berengarra Auburn House and Prague Housecollectivelyprovidingpermanent and respite care for 165 residents.These services encompassmainstreamaged care psychogeriatriccare and specialistprograms for individuals with mental health diagnosesacquiredbrain injuriesand /or a history ofhomelessness. All facilities are registered NDIS providers.The role is primarily based at St Georges Health Service (SGHS) in Kew with responsibilities across campuses and aged care sites.
