Job Summary
Job Title: Locum - Physician - Physiatry (PM&R)
Join our esteemed medical facility in Anderson South Carolina as we seek PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) locum coverage to address an anticipated physician shortage due to maternity leave. Our hospital offers a supportive environment with a focus on delivering exceptional care serving both adult and geriatric populations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care within the PM&R specialty.
- Conduct prescribing narcotics and ensuring adherence to CMS guidelines.
- Perform pre-admission screening reviews and documentation.
- Create weekly care plans and discharge summaries.
- Supervise nurse practitioners as needed.
- Manage an average of 20 patients in the Behavioral Health unit per day.
- Participate in on-call rotations with a 1:4 call ratio.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in PM&R (required).
- Completion of fellowship training (preferred).
- Active South Carolina medical license (required).
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days required).
- BLS / ACLS certification (preferred).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active South Carolina license (required).
- Board Certified status in PM&R (required).
- Current BLS / ACLS certification (preferred).
