Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to work closely with the CFO and HR Manager across accounting payroll budgeting and financial reporting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior- to mid-level finance or accounting professional who wants to be a key contributor to the team grow their skills work closely with senior leadership and gain broad exposure to finance operations in a collaborative environment.
Youll play a key role in supporting the organizations financial health through accurate processing reporting and operational support.
What Youll Do
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Process invoices and prepare vendor payments
- Identify and track expense allocations
- Perform account reconciliations (bank investment and other accounts)
- Process accounts receivable and assist with collections
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with regulatory filings (1099s Form 990)
- Support annual audit activities
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and cash flow planning
Payroll & HR Support
- Review biweekly payroll reports for accuracy and reconciliation
- Track PTO usage and maintain payroll records in ADP
- Assist with commuter insurance and benefit reimbursement tracking
- Cross-train with HR on payroll and benefits processes
- Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field preferred
- 13 years of financial or accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
- Understanding of GAAP
- Experience with QuickBooks ADP or Power BI is a plus
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
