Job Summary
Position Overview:
Were seeking a forward-thinking Product Engineer Intern to join our R&D team focused on providing solutions to challenges in drywall manufacturing through research prototyping and testing. They will support current R&D projects on new product development and improved product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and development of new products and technologies
- Conduct field and lab testing to evaluate product performance under real-world conditions
- Assist in data collection and analysis for structural thermal and environmental testing
- Document findings test results and design iterations for internal and regulatory use
- Participate in plant visits to observe product applications and gather feedback
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Materials Science or a related field
- Experience with lab testing equipment and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with CAD tools and related software is a plus
- Programming or data analysis skills (e.g. Python Excel VBA) preferrable
