Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Delivery Team Lead to act as the primary point of contact for global stakeholders including Research Leadership Senior Consultants and Relationship Managers while also providing leadership guidance and direct management to a team of Associates across our Mumbai and Gurgaon offices to ensure projects and tasks are executed efficiently on time and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bridge strategic business objectives with tactical execution fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. This individual will also combine expertise in research methodologies with strong process mapping data analytics and automation skills to ensure delivery is faster more reliable and cost-effective. Principal responsibilities include:

Operations and Research Delivery (Functional Role):

  • Prepare and review both Standard and Customised client deliverables
  • Participate in client meetings and support client servicing and broader engagements
  • Support product development by participating in the creation of new proposals and methodologies
  • Support our Research Leadership and Senior Consultants in writing market trends benchmark reports and whitepapers
  • Preparation of new business proposals and pitch materials.

Global Coordination & Communication:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all communication between the global relationship and research leadership and the local delivery team ensuring a clear flow of information and updates
  • Build and maintain strong positive relationships with various partner teams including Global List Services Fielding Survey Programming Implementation and Technology Support to foster collaboration and alignment
  • Effectively relay business goals global project details and workflow and any scope changes to the local team while also providing the global team with feedback and insights from a local perspective.

Team Leadership and People Management:

  • Provide leadership and direct line management to the local team of Client Associates and Research Analysts including mentoring coaching and performance reviews.
  • Manage and allocate local resources to ensure projects are adequately staffed and equipped with right skills
  • Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution within the team ensuring effective collaboration and high morale.

Process Analysis and Improvement:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing end-to-end research delivery workflows to identify bottlenecks reduce redundant tasks and improve efficiency
  • Ideate participate in designing and drive implement robust solutions to automate repetitive tasks and integrate disparate data files and processes.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge cultural and functional gaps
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for problem-solving and data interpretation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills capable of managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation/ PowerPoint and writing skills
  • Proficiency in data manipulation techniques including cleaning transforming and aggregating data in Excel
  • Adaptability and self-motivation to work autonomously while keeping business objectives in sight
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Note: MS Excel/ PowerPoint skills will be tested as part of the interview process.

Experience:

  • Background in Investment Management Investment Banking or Consulting to Financial Services
  • Significant experience in research coordination and/or project management ideally in a global setting
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or team management position.

Education:MBA from a Top Tier Institute Finance background preferred
