Job Title: Administrative Clerk
Location: Fitchburg MA 01420
Duration: 2 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to provide front-office and clerical support for daily operations. This role works closely with the Area Director and Administrative Assistant I supporting reception duties investigations documentation records management and general administrative functions while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain the reception area including security procedures switchboard operations staff in/out board and incoming/outgoing mail
-
Provide clerical support for HCSIS Stage I and Stage II investigations including data entry and correspondence
-
Assist with daily operational activities as directed by the Area Director and Administrative Assistant I
-
Support ordering of office supplies equipment and furniture; serve as backup liaison with the Regional Business Office and vendors
-
Maintain historical and ineligible file systems including filing and purging records
-
Review forms documents correspondence and applications for accuracy and completeness
-
Perform typing and document preparation using MS Office applications
-
Assist SCs with copying and mailing of ISPs
-
Maintain confidentiality of staff information consumer data sensitive files and crisis-related materials
Required Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read write and comprehend English

Strong grammar spelling and punctuation skills

Knowledge of clerical office practices and standard office equipment

Typing speed of at least 20 mailable words per minute

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Effective verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to assemble and file information accurately

Ability to maintain accurate records and follow standard filing procedures

Ability to establish positive working relationships and deal tactfully with others

Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
