Internship | Technical Scholar Program | Clearwater, FL

About the Role:

The primary role of the Technical Scholar will be in guiding our resellers through the TD SYNNEX ecosystem while providing presales design consultation specific to AI technologies. They will need to understand current technologies including modernized cloud security data center and networking in order to provide product recommendations create Bill of Materials scope projects and provide licensing information on products not supported by the existing Pre-Sales Sales Engineering team. The candidates must be students that are pursuing their degree in a technical field working part time until they finish their addition to the primary support described the Technical Scholars will also be involved in product demonstrations in our lab as well as projects with personal mentors to be assigned to them across various technical categories. These Tech Scholars may also work as teams on specific AI projects. This role will also serve as entry point for potential hire upon graduation enhancing our candidate pool of college grads. These individuals may have up to 18 months of company knowledge and can be a fit for many different functional roles within TD SYNNEX.

What Youll Do:

• Consult and advise customers and end-users primarily at a technical level.
  Design and configure appropriate technical solutions for customers focused on modern infrastructure and AI technologies.

• Leverage internal groups including AI product management staff to optimize sales opportunities. Learn and keep up with the latest modern infrastructure AI technology AI projects and products offered through TD SYNNEX.

• Clearly and accurately document AI customer calls in a JIRA activity tracking database

• Work in groups and help develop AI or similar Use cases put them in practice and demo to Product teams customers and vendors.

What Were Looking For:

• Entry Level (0 to 1 Years of relevant work experience)

• Some college required.

• 3 years - Hire in the beginning of their Senior year to a Bachelors in one of the various AI type roles.

• Ability to work in a team environment and may have different levels of expertise

• Have awareness of tools such as Python containers Git Shell Scripting LLM Solutions Retrival Augmented Generation Data Science project work Panda TensorFlow Scikit-learn and CUDA. Web development frameworks such as Flask FastAPI along with Cloud fundamentals (AWS Azure or GCP) and Vector databases & embeddings (ChromaDB).

• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

• Able to use common office equipment.

• Possesses strong data entry skills.

• Able to perform complex mathematical calculations.

• Able to demonstrate complex problem solving critical thinking and decision-making.
