Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Acute
The Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Acute is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care for individuals on the orthopedic unit. This role involves assessing patient needs interpreting clinical data and providing age-specific care according to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate total patient care for assigned individuals ensuring a tailored and compassionate approach.
- Assess patient data interpret clinical information and deliver care specific to each patients age and needs.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
- Support the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.
- Contribute to the hospitals strategic plan by participating in quality improvement and process enhancement activities.
This position requires clinical expertise patient-centered care and a commitment to supporting the hospitals Mission Core Values and quality goals. Join a team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Requirements
- One (1) year experience in the area of note: We are currently unable to train RNs without a minimum of six (6) months acute care experience; new graduates are not eligible.
- Current California RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
