Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Acute

The Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Acute is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care for individuals on the orthopedic unit. This role involves assessing patient needs interpreting clinical data and providing age-specific care according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate total patient care for assigned individuals ensuring a tailored and compassionate approach.
  • Assess patient data interpret clinical information and deliver care specific to each patients age and needs.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
  • Support the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.
  • Contribute to the hospitals strategic plan by participating in quality improvement and process enhancement activities.

Job Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in the area of note: We are currently unable to train RNs without a minimum of six (6) months acute care experience; new graduates are not eligible.
  • Current California RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
