Power Platform Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Architect to design govern and lead the implementation of enterprise-scale solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Canvas Apps Model-Driven Apps Power Automate Power BI and Dataverse with strong experience in solution architecture performance optimization security and governance. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable secure and maintainable low-code solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define end-to-end Power Platform architecture including Canvas Apps Model-Driven Apps Power Automate flows Power BI and Dataverse.
  
• Design scalable high-performance applications following Power Platform and Microsoft Well-Architected Framework.
  
• Decide when to use Canvas vs Model-Driven Apps based on business and technical requirements.
  
• Establish application lifecycle management (ALM) strategy using solutions environments and pipelines.
  

Power Apps Development

• Architect and develop complex Canvas Apps with optimized formulas delegation-friendly queries and responsive UI.
  
• Design and configure Model-Driven Apps including forms views business rules business process flows and dashboards.
  
• Optimize app performance for large data volumes and enterprise users.
  

Power Automate & Integration

• Design and govern Power Automate cloud and desktop flows for business process automation.
  
• Implement robust error handling logging retry mechanisms and monitoring.
  
• Integrate Power Platform with SharePoint Dataverse SQL Azure services Dynamics 365 and external APIs.
  

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Architect Power BI semantic models datasets and reports aligned with enterprise data standards.
  
• Design efficient DAX measures data models and row-level security (RLS).
  
• Enable real-time and near-real-time reporting using Power BI Service and Dataverse.
  

Security Governance & Performance

• Define and enforce security models including Dataverse security roles field-level security and environmental strategies.
  
• Establish Power Platform governance including DLP policies solution standards and usage monitoring.
  
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security audit and regulatory requirements.
  

DevOps & Enterprise Enablement

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Power Platform ALM Azure DevOps GitHub and managed/unmanaged solutions.
  
• Collaborate with enterprise architects business stakeholders and development teams.
  
• Provide technical leadership mentoring and architectural guidance to Power Platform developers.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills

• 15 years of IT experience with 12 years on Microsoft Power Platform.
  
• Deep hands-on experience with:
  
• Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
  
• Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)
  
• Power BI (Data Modeling DAX RLS)
  
• Dataverse
  
• Strong understanding of Power Platform architecture limitations and performance tuning.
  
• Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint SQL Server Azure services REST APIs and Dynamics 365.
  
• Solid knowledge of ALM environment strategy and solution deployment.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure Logic Apps Azure Functions Azure Service Bus.
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data platforms.
  
• Exposure to Power Pages and external-facing apps.
  
• Experience with large-scale Canvas App and Model Driven App refactoring for delegation and performance.
  

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
  
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant
  
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst
