Job Summary
We are seeking a Customs Labourer who will be responsible for assisting in customs inspection handling opening packing and movement of cargo under the supervision of customs officials and supervisors ensuring compliance with customs and safety procedures.
- Assist in opening unpacking and repacking cargo for customs inspection
- Load unload and move cargo within customs and bonded areas
- Support customs officers and supervisors during cargo examination
- Handle cargo carefully to avoid damage during inspection
- Follow customs rules security guidelines and site procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and order in customs inspection areas
- Report damaged cargo or irregularities immediately
- Use PPE and follow safety instructions at all times
- Assist in sealing and securing cargo after inspection
Requirements
- Basic education preferred
- 02 years experience in cargo handling or labor work preferred
- Experience in customs port or bonded warehouse operations is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Willing to work shifts and overtime
