Job Summary
About Company: Our client is a leading renewable energy company in Nigeria known for delivering customized high-impact energy solutions that address the diverse needs of clients across the country.
Job Summary: The Company is seeking to hire an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage account payable and receivable including invoicing and payments.
Manage general ledger accounting activities including journal entries reconciliations and month-end close processes.
Prepare financial statements budgets and financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning.
Handle payroll processing and tax filings.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Assist in financial audits and ensure proper documentation.
Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Stay updated with tax laws industry regulations and best accounting practices.
Requirements
Key Requirements
HND / in Accounting Finance and Business Administration or any related discipline.
ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory.
3-5 years of accounting experience preferably in the renewable energy industry.
Experience with project-level accounting and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Understanding of general ledger accounting practices.
Financial Analysis and Statutory Reporting.
Problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
Analytical thinking integrity and accountability.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.

Compensation: Base Pay ranges BTW N300k N400k monthly net other benefits
