With a focus on collaborative client-centered solutions they deliver high-standard engineering and certification services for projects of all sizes and complexities. Their approach emphasizes safety integrity timeliness and budget-conscious delivery.
JOB SUMMARY:
This role is suited for professionals who can work independently apply Australian Standards confidently anddeliver technically sound buildable designs with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and analyse residential and commercial building structures in compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS).
Prepare and review structural calculations design reports and technical documentation.
Perform structural analysis and design using:
Hyne Timber Design Software
SkyCiv
SpaceGass
Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings and construction details using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with Australian-based engineers architects and project managers to ensure alignment across disciplines.
Ensure designs are structurally sound buildable compliant and cost-effective.
Revise and update designs in response to authority feedback client comments and construction constraints.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Structural Drafting Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for structural documentation.
Working knowledge of Australian building codes and structural standards.
Experience using structural analysis and timber design software (Hyne SkyCiv SpaceGass preferred).
Ability to interpret engineering calculations and translate them into clear accurate drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and onshore teams.
