For our team we are looking for:

PROCUREMENT CATEGORY MANAGER CAPEX CRITICAL SPARE PARTS

Heidelberg Materials Devnya is part of Heidelberg Materials a leader in the cement industry worldwide and the largest cement producer in Bulgaria with a leading position in the domestic market but also the main cement exporter.

Your Tasks:

• Develop and implement sourcing and commercial strategies for all CAPEX materials equipment and services ensuring alignment with policies project plans and annual budgets;

• Deliver annual negotiation savings targets and support corporate procurement objectives;

• Plan track and control local CAPEX expenditures;

• Build strong interfaces with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on CAPEX project goals;

• Ensure availability of equipment maintenance and repair services based on operational needs;

• Review and validate purchase requests ensuring technical accuracy budget compliance and timely feedback to end users;

• Manage RFQ processes: identify potential suppliers issue RFQs coordinate communication and evaluate offers through technical and commercial analyses;

• Negotiate with suppliers in line with procurement strategy ensuring optimal cost quality and delivery performance;

• Support major investment projects in planning scheduling procurement and commissioning phases ensuring timely delivery and required documentation;

• Monitor supplier performance measurements and compliance driving continuous improvement;

• Report directly to the Purchasing Director.

Our requirements:

• University Degree in Economics or Engineering;

• Previous working experience on a similar position - at least 3 years;

• Excellent command of English - both written and spoken;

• Excellent computer literacy MS Office applications and SAP and Ariba;

• Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across all functions;

• Supply market trends and products: up-to-date knowledge;

• Must have knowledge of purchasing equipment and bulk materials;

• Excellent understanding of project management;

• Strong knowledge and experience in managing contract development terms and conditions negotiation strategy and execution with internal customer alignment etc;

• Must understand the work process for CAPEX Project estimating and planning.
