This is a unique opportunity to join a team of a leading global life sciences company that advances patient health and powers clear confident decisions through its diagnostics and drug development offerings selling the benefits of LabCorp in many physician specialties.

As a Key Account Executive (KAE) you will be responsible for managing a large existing book of business while also introducing focused specialty products analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to your clients. Striving for strong customer service with increased growth from this book of business.

The territory for this field-based position covers Nashville Tennessee and surrounding cities i.e. Murfreesboro Columbia etc. The primary focus will be healthcare providers to service existing businesses and promote laboratory testing to help improve patient health and outcomes.

Working conditions:

  • Must reside in the Nashville TN or nearby surrounding areas
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to travel to cover assigned geographic areas.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Educatesinstructsand upselling all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
  • Acts as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs
  • Providesongoing service and problem resolution to customer base
  • Ensures customer retention byprovidingsuperior customer service
  • Recommends solutions that are client focused and persuasive
  • Providesaccount management forclientsday to day operations
  • Upsellscurrent book of business to increase organic growth
  • Works closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business
  • Continuouslyprovideseducational material to the client base
  • Resolves any customer related issuesin a timely manner
  • Meets and exceeds monthly retentionand upsell revenue quota

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven success managing a book of business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must reside in Nashville TN or nearby surrounding areas
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to travel to cover assigned geographic areas.
  • Persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced competitive market
  • Self- motivated
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Proven success in upselling & client renewals
  • At least 3 years experience in Account Management Client Success role or client facing.
  • Current or previous clinical laboratory or diagnostics sales experience
  • At least 1 year of clinical operations experience - including an understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) understanding physician office workflow and service expectation
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
